EVS22 Electric Vehicle Symposium in Yokohama, Japan
(23rd - 28th Oct 2006)
Following the success seen at the British Motor Show PML Flightlink took the Mini QED to the recent EVS22 exhibition (Electric Vehicle Symposium) in Yokohama Japan. The EVS show is the leading exhibition for alternate fuel vehicles.
With all the major Far East car manufacturers present this was a good opportunity for the Hi Pa drive system, developed by PML, for the Mini QED to be seen.
As expected the response was fantastic. Feedback and interest was received by all the major vehicle manufacturers together with many vehicle OEM's and new vehicle builders.

Good opportunities and potential vehicle programs were a plenty for the Hi Pa drive technology.
Over the coming months PML will be involved in discussions with many potential customers and project partners for the Hi Pa drive technology in many different vehicle executions ranging from new concept vehicles to buses.
The Hi Pa drive system used in the Mini gives each wheel 120kW of power and therefore a total vehicle power of 480kW. The greatest technology breakthrough is with the invertor drive which is housed inside the motor and has a mass less the 2kg. NOTE: A full 120kW invertor drive with a mass of less than 2kg. This represents at least 10 times the power to mass ratio of any currently existing 120kW invertor in the world today.

PML will continue to use the news pages to keep everybody updated with new developments and future PR plans for the Mini QED and other Hi-Pa drive vehicles.
